Hallo zusammen!

Wir, Maria und David,  sind zwei leidenschaftliche Fernwanderer.

Aus unterschiedlichen Gründen startete jeder von uns vor Jahren seine erste Tour. Danach ließ uns das Wandern nicht mehr los.  Weitere Fernwanderwege folgten.

Mit unterschiedlichen Lebenserfahrungen, aus unterschiedlichen Kulturkreisen und unterschiedlichen Teilen der Welt stammend liefen wir uns sprichwörtlich auf dem Continental Divide Trail über den Weg. Anfänglich schlossen wir uns aus Sicherheitsgründen zusammen, um die schneebedeckten Berge Colorados gemeinsam zu bewältigen. Wir hatten nicht vor, mehr als ein paar Tage miteinander zu wandern. Doch aus Tagen wurden Monate und aus Freundschaft wurde mehr! 🙂

Und so setzen wir unsere ‚Wanderung‘ fort. Nicht nur auf den schönen Trails dieser Erde sondern auch gemeinsam durch‘s Leben mit all seinen Hindernissen.

Hello everybody!

We, Maria and David, are two passionate long-distance hiker.

For various reasons each of us started with our own  first tour years ago. On this tour the long distance hiking challenge grabbed us. And so it continued.

With different life experiences, coming from different cultures and from different parts of the world, we ultimately met each other on the Continental Divide Trail. Initially we joined together for safety reasons to overcome the snow covered mountains of Colorado. We didn’t expect to hike more than a few days together but days became months and friendship became more! 🙂

 And now we are continuing our ‚hiking‘ not just on the beautiful trails of this planet  but together through the trail of life and its obstacles.

… and we are looking forward to this special trail!
