Went to Yarmouth, Maine last Wednesday (9/21/2016) and went to DeLorme headquarters for meet and greet with our friendly supporter. Talked about some details of the trail for New Zealand and got to see big Eartha. That’s a 3-dimensional scale model of our earth. She is as beautiful as she is big as she is round and she is, by the way, a Guinness World Record Holder (World’s Largest Revolving/Rotating Globe)!!

You need a big desk to put this globe on! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Habe mich letzten Mittwoch, am 21.09.2016, zum ‚meet and greet‘ mit unserem Unterstützer im DeLorme-Hauptquartier in Yarmouth, Maine getroffen.Wir sprachen über einige technische Details zum Trail in Neuseeland und ich konnte die große ‚Eartha‘ bestaunen,  ein dreidimensionales, maßstabgetreues Abbild unserer Erde. Sie ist so schön, wie sie groß und rund ist und  ist übrigens eine Weltrekordhalterin (Weltgrößter, rotierender Globus; Guinness Buch der Rekorde).

Man braucht schon einen großen Schreibtisch für diesen Globus! 🙂 🙂 🙂
